Thanks, Jesse. You make a good and important point. Proper research must be done to determine whether there’s a direct cause-effect relationship in such cases or not. And we hope that anecdotal evidence inspires a quest for answers, whether it verifies the vaccine as the cause or some other trigger (or set of triggers).

Just want to point out that the article relating H1N1 Vaccine to miscarriages you link to has a few pretty serious errors. Without investigation into the base rate of non-vaccine related miscarriages compared to the vaccine related group, it is impossible – and irresponsible – to draw any sort of correlation. Presenting a tiny selection of anecdotes and using them to make health recommendations is not science.
