Remember the terrible, horrible, no good, very bad flu season folks were so freaked out about only a month or so ago?
Remember the urgency with which we were all told to go get a flu shot? How that was the absolute best thing we could do to keep from getting sick – or infecting others?
Suffice it to say, health officials are reportedly “baffled as to why this is so.”
How effective has the vaccine been otherwise? The CDC found that, across all age groups, those who got the shot were 56% less likely to wind up “at the doctor with the flu. That,” says AP, “is somewhat worse than in other years.”
And not nearly as impressive as the hype, that’s for sure!
